Our group chose chevy for a tag because it was something we all like. Art can enrich someone if they like to do art by making them happy or can make all other things fall away. It can show someone what kind of neighborhood or world they live in. They can do it through graffiti or they can make a normal painting and show how that person and everyone else feels.
I chose do the culture of America, Africa, and Japan so I could get a little bit of diversity. If you have life experiences that are depicted in the painting or piece of artwork then you can relate and feel like you understand the artwork even more. We may be able to understand different cultures a little bit better than we had. We can learn our feelings toward that type of culture. I made an emaze including aircraft paintings ,who made them and what the price of them are. In this project I learned how hard it could be to be a museum curator. I will never forget some of the paintings that I saw just because of how cool they were. I met the standard by putting the photos in an emaze and including all the information I needed to show who made it and stuff like that.
I made this symbol using two logos from big aircraft manufacturing companies. The first symbol including the circle is Boeing which makes the 747 airliner. In the second picture I added the star and that symbol is Lockheed martin which manufactures fighter jets like my favorite the F-22.
For the first art challenge I chose to do animation through coding. Below I have added some photos of the process. Where I am in coding I can't make really complex shapes or images because the website only has pretty basic shapes and I can't put them together very well yet or it has to complex of shapes that I do't know how to use. For this challenge it had the question why do artists follow or break from established traditions? Artists break from normal traditions because the person doing it may not like the tradition or have new ideas for different traditions.
Printmaking is when you carve out of a linoleum block. Below you can see what I have carved and also my initial sketch. Before you start carving make sure to mirror letters or words so they don't appear backwards. It is mostly straight edges because curves take a little longer so it is faster to have mostly straight lines. You use a brayer to put ink on the linoleum block to then print onto a paper and start a run (When you print many times in a row.). You carve it out on a stop block which helps stop you from cutting yourself. You use printmaking ink on a metal plate so you can spread the ink out with the brayer to then start putting ink on your print. You put the ink side down on the paper and apply enough pressure to make it print on the paper. Do this many times so you can take the best ones and use those.
I made my logo the way I did because I just put everything I liked into one photo. I made the aircraft the biggest because that is my favorite thing out of all the stuff on here. I have my initials to show it's mine. The plane that's on here is an f-22 raptor my favorite plane. That is my logo.
